• Thin in body with little hairy. The opposite to a bumble bee.
  • Black and golden or amber orange striped bodies.
  • Legs are primarily hidden.
  • Queens are approximately 2 – 2.2 centimetres long.
  • Workers are approximately 1.1 centimetres long
