Q: Should I be concerned for any food stored or supplied in our property or premises?

No, not as long as all food present is stored away or covered over. We recommend that no food should be exposed or left open during the visit.

Q: Is every property and premises treated in the same way?

No, GoKill is aware that every infestation is completely different, therefore, we provide specific, tailor-made treatment plans for each individual client and their pest and infestation problems.

Q: My pets have fleas, can your pest technicians help?

Unfortunately no, pets are your responsibility and we recommend you seek advice from veterinarians. At GoKill our technicians are not trained and qualified to help you with the problem of fleas on your pets. For successful results, we strongly advise you to seek flea treatments for your pets, along with a flea fumigation treatment.

Q: Does any of the products you use produce an odour?

GoKill does have a few products which do produce a slight odour, which will completely fade after two to three hours. Please note GoKill Manchester Pest Control uses UK approved products. They are the best professional, industrial products which are also approved by BPCA – British Pest Control Association.

Q: Is a signed contract agreement required?

No, at GoKill Manchester Pest Control no contracts are required for any of our treatments. However, we do offer contract agreements for any residential and commercial properties or premises that require it.

Q: Are the chemicals you use safe?

GoKill Manchester Pest Control uses UK approved products. They are the best professional, industrial products which are also approved by BPCA – British Pest Control Association.

Q: Does every room within the property or business premises need to be treated?

There is no definitive answer to this. Our GoKill professionals will make an assessment of the property either over the phone prior to the visit or during the visits. The answer depends on the pest and the severity of the infestations. On occasions the full property or business premises may require a full treatment. However, there is times where it is only appropriate to treat the troubled spots or specific areas.

Q: What should I do if I can hear noises in my loft?

What you are probably hearing is squirrels. If you are concerned and would like reassurance please contact GoKill to arrange a visit at a time which is convenient to you. Our trusted, professional technicians will thorough examine your loft and any other areas of concern. From there, if anything is detected our GoKill technician will identify the species and inform you of the treatment required to eliminate this problem.

Q: How does a spray fumigation treatment affect any plants within the property?

When contacting GoKill to arrange a treatment, our services will inform you if you require a spray treatment and what to do before hand. Unfortunately, all plants need to be either stored in a room which is not being fumigated or removed from the property whilst a fumigation treatment is being carried out. GoKill Manchester Pest Control recommends this to ensure they do not become infected with any surrounding chemicals and die. Our GoKill fumigator can advise you further on the day of the treatment. Once informed of the time taken for the treatment to dry by our technician, you plants can enter the property with no problems.

Q: How does a spray fumigation treatment affect any children within the property?

When contacting GoKill to arrange a treatment, our services will inform you if you require a spray treatment and what to do before hand. Unfortunately, all animals - pets (including fish) need to be located in a safe room which is not being fumigated or removed from the property whilst a fumigation treatment is being carried out. This is for their own safety, as we do not want them breathing in any chemicals. GoKill Manchester Pest Control recommends that animals belongings, i.e, beds, litter trays, bowls, toys, cages, tanks or aquariums etc, are covered, out of reach in another room or preferably out of the property prior to carrying out any fumigation treatment. GoKill Manchester Pest Control also advises that where possible please ventilate all rooms thoroughly after they have been fumigated. This is significantly important to those owners who have animals in their property. Once informed of the time taken for the treatment to dry by our technician, you and your pets can enter the property with no problems.
